Welcome to our Final Mixed Media Monthly
Challenge #49
Challenge #49

(Create a mixed media project with wrapping incorporated somehow into your design. *to clarify, your project does not need to be a journal. It can be anything. ;-) Think wire or fiber wrapped project elements, ribbon wrapping around, parts wrapped around an inner core, it's up to you to interpret! Let's see your work and go out in grand fashion!*)
***please remember to add this graphic to your blog post***
After a great run, it’s time to end this chapter of the Mixed Monthly Challenge. When I started this challenge four years ago in June 2014 I had no idea how popular it would become, how many people it would inspire or how many amazing artist and creative companies I would have the please of working with. I want to personally say thank you to all the awesome design team members (especially Lisa Hoel for keeping us going the last year), generous sponsors, talented guest designers and last but certainly not least the hundreds of mixed media artists who have played along with us through the years. Now it's time to move on. I wish you all well and I hope that you will play in the final Mixed Media Monthly Challenge this month as we “Wrap it Up.”

Here's a little bit from Eileen:
I am so excited to be part of this challenge - thanks for inviting
me. I can’t wait to see what everyone created!
For my project, I created a Photo Box Wrap. I die cut the Wrapped Journal from matboard covered with metal, embossed it and then colored it with
Colorique inks. I attached an embossed metal frame from the Trinket Box die.
Inside the wrap, I added two cut down Notebook Pockets stacked on top of each
other in the middle section, and three mini photo books in each box. I also
made a small insert from black paper for notes and quotes. The box is held
together with magnets and there are a few charms on the binding. I can’t help
playing with it every time I walk by!
