Welcome to the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #32
(create a project using a stencil)
***please remember to add this graphic to your blog post***
Our January Sponsor & Guest Designer is Mary Beth Shaw of StencilGirl Products!!
Mary Beth Shaw is author of Flavor for Mixed Media and Stencil Girl, is
a columnist for Somerset Studios Magazine and a Golden Artist Educator. She is
the founder of StencilGirl Products, LLC. Having hand-cut her own stencils for
years, Mary Beth Shaw dipped her toe into the stencil design business in 2010
after her students asked if they could purchase some of her designs. She had a
half dozen stencils cut to sell and voila! Before she knew it, StencilGirl
Products was born. Today StencilGirl Products sells more than 900 stencils
designed by a team of talented artists. StencilGirl Products cuts stencils the
old fashion way, one at a time right here in the USA. StencilGirl is a
family-owned business that includes Mary Beth, her husband John, and son-in-law,
Frank.

And now for a big announcement. We would like to welcome Lynne Forsythe to our Design Team. Lynne is an amazing Mixed Media Artist and we are thrilled to have her join us. Please be sure to welcome Lynne.
Lynne Forsythe is from a small town in Northern New Hampshire and has been creating since she was a child. Lynne discovered paper crafting about 10 years ago.....and has have never looked back! She loves trying new things, then sharing them with anyone who will listen. Lynne likes to remind people that it’s good to step outside of one’s creative box.” She is known for her love of color, and will color anything she can get her hands on. If she was to classify her style, it would be Distress meets Shabby and ALWAYS has flowers!
Lynne has been published in several magazines and currently designs for Canvas Corp Brands, UmWowStudio and Yvonne Blair Designs/Impression Obsession. Lynne has also created numerous video tutorials and has taught extensively across the United States.
