Our July Guest Designer and Sponsor is the amazing mixed media artist
Seth Apter

I am a mixed media artist, instructor, author and designer from New York City. My artwork has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions and can be found in numerous books and national magazines. I am the voice behind The Pulse, a series of international, collaborative projects that are the basis for my books "The Pulse of Mixed Media: Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed" and "The Mixed-Media Artist: Art Tips, Tricks, Secrets and Dreams From Over 40 Amazing Artists", both released by North Light Books. I am the artist behind two workshop DVDs: Easy Mixed Media Surface Techniques and Easy Mixed Media Techniques for the Art Journal. I am an instructor at Pratt Institute in NYC and my live workshops have been held throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and the UK. I have a mixed media line with Spellbinders Paper Arts, a stencil line with StencilGirl Products and a stamp line with Impression Obsession. I am a member of CHA and a columnist for Cloth Paper Scissors magazine. You can learn more about me and visit my online store at my website at www.sethapter.com

Seth made this gorgeous project for our July "Reach for the Stars" Challenge

We also have an exciting announcement to make. We are welcoming our newest Design Team Member Clare Messenger!

Hi I'm Clare, I absolutely adore crafting!  Initially I enjoyed card making and rubber stamping but more recently I have been exploring mixed media.  My hobby fits into my hectic life whilst working as a teaching assistant in a primary school, looking after my son, daughter and hubby Gary. Not forgetting our two mad springer spaniels, Suzi and Jess.

Clare made this beautiful project for our July Challenge.

And now for some inspiration from our Design Team...
